Art. no 11000
The Bison 11,000 6WD is as easy to drive as the smaller Bison machines. The unique thing about the Bison 11,000 is the chassis. With the help of high-strength steel, the chassis becomes torsionally rigid and stronger without adding unnecessary weight. This enables the installation of the segment’s longest and most powerful crane, Kranman M56, which has a reach of 5.6 meters.
Bison 11,000 has a load capacity of 3,000 kg. The machine has hydrostatic drive. Which means that it has a drive pedal which regulates the speed. Releasing the pedal, the machine stops and stands still until you press the pedal again. The direction of travel is selected using a button next to the chair. If a double command is chosen, there is also a driving pedal in the floor at the rear. With a Bison 11,000, you do a very efficient job. You can sit backwards and drive the machine on a working lap, release the driving pedal, load the log and when you press the pedal again, you’re off. This without having to drop down the machine at low RPM, put in neutral or pull the handbrake.
The Bison 11,000 is perceived as incredibly agile thanks to the well-thought-out location of the waist almost midway between the front and rear wheels. This means that the rear of the machine runs almost in the same track as the front wheels. The diesel engine in the machine is a well-proven Kubota 902D that drives two hydrostatic pumps and a gear pump. One hydrostatic pump for the drive on the rear and one for the front and a gear pump for the crane and steering. The rear and front have their own hydraulic motors, which means minimal moving parts. The control of the hydrostat is mechanical with servo hydraulics that contribute to a very reliable machine.
The chassis is designed with a minimum point of 31 cm from the ground and a clearance height of as much as 35 cm, which gives the highest clearance in its class. With a width of 155 cm and a low center of gravity, the machine becomes very stable. The Bison 11,000 has high and low gear (7 and 3.5 km/h respectively). Both low and high gear have 6-wheel drive. The low and high gear have a 6-wheel drive. Transport gear is optional, the machine will then run on 14 km / h. Other options include a cab with heating and crane dampers that make driving smoother. All Bison can be driven on a dollytrailer thanks to the fact that the rear roller drive can be easily uncovered.
