Kranman 760 – The next generation of class-leading mini forwarders is here After the very successful launch of the Kranman 650 and 660, it is now time to present the next forwarder in Kranman’s new forwarder series, the Kranman 760. The Kranman 760 replaces the Bison 10000. It is available in three different designs: Comfort, Pro and Pro+. All trim levels of the Kranman 760 have a cab with waterborne heating and are combi prepared, which enables the installation of the Jobo ST35 harvester head. The diesel engine is based on Kubota’s well-proven D902. It is a three-cylinder engine with 25 hp. To get extra power, we have chosen to install the D902-T, which means that it is turbocharged. This increases the torque from 56 Nm to 78 Nm, which is clearly noticeable in this powerful machine. The stainless steel exhaust system is integrated under the hood which makes it well protected. The machine has stepless drive via hydrostat. The driving force has increased by a whopping 30%. This is due to the new powertrain that has a lower gear ratio, more powerful hydrostats and the turbocharged engine. The chassis is completely newly developed and is both torsionally stiffer and more powerful. The load-bearing structure in the rear is made of the high-strength steel Domex 650, which means that the load capacity has been increased to 2700 kg. To reduce vibrations and noise levels, the newly developed cab for this model series is rubber-suspended. The chassis design allows the Kranman 760 to have a flat cabin floor. This makes it easy to enter the cab and there is plenty of room for your legs. The large curved window provides a very good view when loading and driving backwards. The Pro and Pro+ trim levels have double-arm wipers both front and rear. Storage space is one thing that has been prioritized in the development work. In the cab, we have placed a compartment under the seat, a compartment in the dashboard with USB sockets, compartments on both screens, compartments for mobile phones, cup holders, as well as a hook for a jacket and a hook for a chopper’s helmet. On the outside, we have placed large compartments on both sides of the motor for storing tools, for example. On the hood there is a chainsaw holder and on the gate a combi can holder. In the Pro+ version, there is also a storage basket on the gate. The waterborne heat provides an even and good heat in winter. For good ventilation in the summer, we have developed smart ventilation locks in flexible rubber that are mounted on both doors. To further increase serviceability, we have placed service hatches at all important service points. There are hatches under the engine, under the front axle, on the front side, in the cab floor and on the top of the rear car. The Kranman 760 has very good lighting. The Pro and Pro+ also have cross-lighting through lamps that are protected in the shades. This increases the light pattern and reduces shadow formation. The hydrostatic drivetrain causes the machine to stop and stand still when you release the drive pedal. When loading or parking on an incline, however, you need a brake to stand completely still. Therefore, the Kranman 760 is equipped with a hydraulic handbrake that is automatically activated when the machine is put in neutral. The Pro and Pro+ are also equipped with outrigger warning with automatic braking. To facilitate cold starts, the Pro is equipped with an electric 230v engine heater. The Pro+ is equipped with a diesel heater that is either controlled via timer or SMS. Fuel consumption is about 2 litres per hour, which gives just over 12 driving hours with the new larger tank of 24 litres. The diameter and tread depth of the front wheels have increased on the Kranman 760 compared to its predecessor. This means that the ground clearance at the front is 38 cm and that grip and steering ability have been significantly improved. The width of the machine is only 155 cm. In Comfort version, the Kranman 760 is delivered with our newly developed crane KX30. On the Pro and Pro+ is the professional crane M36.
