Kranman mini forwarders are easy to drive, smooth and reliable.
Our idea, for optimal characteristics for a mini forwarder is waist steering and stepless driving pedal as well as being able to sit in both directions and drive. It should be able to meander between the trees without making an impression in the forest. The machine should be easy to service and maintain.
Why do we thin and take care of our forest? Because we want higher yields by focusing growth in the forest on the right stems. This is the answer we think most people would agree with. However, what the best way to get there is, there are many opinions about. We believe that a stick-free stock pays off in the long run and by stick road-free we mean base roads under two meters. This provides plenty of space on both sides of our Bison mini forwarders. If Kranmanmini forwarder is used, the stick paths become as close to non-existent as possible. You can save exactly the trees you like, while at the same time being able to ensure that trunks and root systems are not damaged and cause rot. By doing this, most of the forest is left until the final felling and the final yield is significantly higher.
We at Kranman are forest owners ourselves and there is nothing we like better than jumping into a mini forwarder, bringing some firewood and a packed lunch and spending a nice day in the forest. It is also precisely in that environment, the forest, that our ideas are born and our machines are constantly evolving. For sure, the machines are drawn at desks, but invented in the forest.
